Earning the reputation of Something Special, Cooper City has been coined “Tree City USA” which is just one example of the country atmosphere resident’s love. The average age of residents is 32.5 years and Cooper City has an estimated population of just fewer than 30,000. Located just 15 miles south west of Ft. Lauderdale and among the residential developments you will find waterways, grazing land, and horse farms mixed with commercial districts.
The only known intact burial site of a 19th century Seminole Indian in the state of Florida is located in Cooper City. The city also has approximately 123 acres devoted to parks and community facilities for the enjoyment of the residents.
